Start your day by visiting the iconic Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Spend your afternoon at leisure.
Enjoy a train ride to Jhansi. From Jhansi, drive to Orcha, approximately 40 minutes away. Visit Orcha, enjoy your lunch and drive to Khajuraho, approximately 4 hours away.
In the morning, visit Khajuraho. Later, fly to Varanasi and in the evening witness the aarti ceremony on the banks of river Ganges.
Start your day early with a boat cruise that offers a spectacular view of the sunrise. Visit an Akhara, where men practice the traditional form of wrestling and take a tour of the city. In the afternoon, visit Sarnath. The deer park in Sarnath is where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma.
Drive to Allahabad, an approximately 3-hour drive. Check in to your tent at the Kumbh Mela and enjoy your lunch and dinner.
Notes :
1. On arrival, if the road is closed due to traffic, there could be 2 - 5 kms walk to reach the tented accommodation. In this case, we will provide porters for luggage and tuk tuk for guests to reduce the walking.
2. Meal served in Allahabad are vegetarian as it a holy city & alcohol is not permitted within the area of tented accommodation. The entire tent area is a non-smoking zone.
3. Running hot water is available during 0600-0800 hrs and 1800-2000 hrs.
